Elated Straight Shooter Client Gets the Results She Wants!

Joy Gould is a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist who contacted me to help her increase the number of patients for her new clinic. After interviewing her about the unique specialties and experience she has, I suggested that several host beneficiary relationships with surgeons as a smart marketing strategy to start with. In other words, create a strong list of benefits that would motivate local surgeons to refer their patients (that have recently undergone surgical procedures that require physical therapy) to Joy’s clinic. What we discovered early on, is that it’s darn near impossible to get busy surgeons to return a phone call, let alone sit down and talk with you.

To get Joy "in the door" and on the surgeon’s referral lists, I wrote some custom sales letters and follow up phone scripts then provided her just a bit of coaching to get her past the fear of making those initial sales calls. After that it was easy for this talented and extremely knowledgeable young specialist to impress the heck out of these normally "inaccessible" doctors. She got the appointments and the new patients she wanted!

Quite obviously that (our) message did the trick ­ he took me by surprise because I answered the phone at it was him ­ he’s like; "Yes, what can I do for you?" I said, I need to meet with you, I just need ten minutes of your time ­ and I said, Doctor Goshgarian spoke very highly of you and I’d like to introduce myself ­ so ­ any how thank you again and I wanted you to know that it obviously paid off ­ and hopefully will continue to pay off and we’ll talk to you soon, Thank You! Goodnight!
